Get started with NHS Berkshire Talking Therapies

NHS Berkshire Talking Therapies is not a crisis service. To get urgent help for your mental health:

  • Seek advice from your GP. They are the first point of contact for mental health advice.
  • When you GP surgery is closed, call NHS 111 and select the mental health option.
  • If someone's life is at risk or they can't be kept safe, call 999 or go to A&E.

Free listening and support services:

Helplines are run by trained volunteers who can listen to you, without giving treatment and advice.
